Cuba is grateful to be able to offer an amendment to the Family Code for public consultation as well as a referendum. It is a testimony of our determination to ensure that everyone’s voice is heard and that every person has an opportunity to voice their opinion in the laws that guide our society. This Code is designed to build families as well as protect all citizens’ rights. All citizens are encouraged to be a part of the referendum and let their voices be heard.
