7 close-ups of Giant bug eyes

Based in Batam Island which is located 45-minutes by boat from Singapore, photographer Shikhei Goh has done an amazing job in revealing the intense details of bugs eyes. Discovering his passion has been one of the biggest achievement for Slickzine. His love is shared by us and we are still in awe of the detail in his photography.

Shikhei Goh started his photographic career in 2011 and very quickly discovered  his passion for macro-photography . By looking at his photography one gets a feel that he has developed  some kind of a relationship with the bugs around the world especially in Batam Island. In his series of intense bug close-ups he brought to life personality, character and intensity of the bug’s species. He says that after “countless trials, errors, explorations and criticism, he has found happiness in the images that he has shared with the world “.

Hats off to Shikhei Goh’s talent, patience and countless retries that we all are able to see such detailed, magnificent, vivid colors and geometry that are not possible to see other wise.
