L’Opera Restaurant – Unique design steals the show.
L’Opera restaurant, located in Paris, France is one of the most spectacular restaurant projects initiated by ODBC Studios (Odile Decq and her partner Benoit Cornette own the studio) . Opening for business this Summer L’Opera was much awaited for the last 3 years. The dining hall has a capacity of 1600 visitors with special interior having huge cave like walls.
Odile Decq is just the ideal principal architect and urbanist as anybody would dream of being. Her designs are appealing and are appreciated around the world because of the diversity and original approach. This is also the main reason for her firm to win 10 national and international prizes for the B.P.O. in Rennes (Benedictus, AMO, Steel Construction, Eternit and Design Oscar).
This project, The L’Opera restaurant’s total cost was 6 million Euros €. The concept of this enormous project is very unique and the most innovative part is the design. The original stone which is very costly is protected by the magnificent glass curtain walls. Two vivid colors have been the most important; red being the primary color and white being the secondary color.
This is indeed a superb project by the ODBC studios. Its contemporary design helps in enlightening the soul which resulted in a huge show of interest by people. This restaurant has been a huge hit ever since its launch and we found it to be worth a mention. Odile Decq and her partner have once again outdone themselves. Their work just entices us to wait for their upcoming projects. God knows what genius would they be working on now.
