Marcio Kogan shows his talent in minimalist architecture.
Talking about minimalism, very few architects are as talented as Marcio Kogan. Located in San Paolo, Brazil, Mirindiba House is a very good example of Minimalism in residential architecture. While checking out Marcio’s work portfolio we decided to share one of his elegant designs that were completed in 2008 and have been shortlisted and won couple of awards.
As the implementation of wide open spaces are getting rare. Architecture with open plan concept is getting more desirable around the world. The Mirindiba house displays the same concept with the signature Marcio kogan style of volumes and textures with rectangular concrete mass which flows with stone work and dark wood. The architect applied long clean lines to the house which shapes up to be simple yet elegant.
There is along stretching deck under the private sector of the house along with a quite reflecting pool. The bottom section of the house is meant for entertainment only whereas the living areas of the house are naturally private due to the topography of the design.
